Price varies from US$1,131.00pp (low season) to US$1,355.00pp (high season). The tour features very beautiful and remote Phobjikha Valley and village of Gangtey. This is where the rare Black Necked Cranes spend the late OCT-late FEB period to escape the Tibetan winter.

3. Bhutan Traditional Explorer... 12days/11nights HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Prices from US$2,011.00pp low season and from US$2,422.00 pp high season. An itinerary similar to ‘Bhutan Golden Langur Explorer’ and also featuring the central Bumthang Valley region. See the traditional weavings of Yathra, the woolen fabric in numerous colors and patterns. Visit the Tamshing Monastery, where 200 monks reside, the Wangdicholing Palace and the ‘Burning Lake’ a sacred Buddhist site. Also visit a Swiss Farm to sample cheeses, apple brandy and local wine & beer. Time permitting, visit Ura, with its cobblestone streets where the old women wear traditional sheepskin shawls, lending a delightful medieval feel to the village. Stop at some local houses in Ura village to view the daily ways of the villagers.
