A one off extra charge of US$75.00 per person is payable at the time booking which covers advance payment to GLTB by telegraphic transfer; your visa processing fee, Government taxes and Paro Airport fees. Children 5-12 years inclusive pay 50% of adult package price plus the one-off extra charge provided they are accompanied by an adult. Children under 5 years of age are free of charge. Adults travelling together in even numbers who specify a single room are required to pay a surcharge of US$50.00 per person per night. For groups over 10 people - rates are on application.

Booking Conditions... Applicable to all GLTB Land Packages.

Delayed Arrival/DepartureThere is no charge levied should your arrival / departure due to weather conditions, Drukair delays or roadblocks cause a delay.

Cancellation ChargesThe Drukair air flight component of your tour package will be totally non-refundable once tickets are issued. The ticket payment deadline is set by Drukair and is usually 7-14 days after your seat reservations are confirmed.

Children’s & Students Rates

No charge for children up to and including 4 years of age, provided accompanied by an adult guardian. Children 5 – 11 years, accompanied by adult guardians are offered 50% discount. Students under 25 years of age, who hold a valid identity card from their academic institution, are offered a 25% discount.

Travel Insurance

It is mandatory that you hold a valid travel insurance policy BEFORE you enter Bhutan. There is no insurance cover provided in any packages/tariffs provided by GLTB, who will not be liable for any illness, injury or death sustained during any package or trek or the consequence there of.
For trek,walk,rafting and other strenous activities,a doctor's certificate is required with a signed statement of acknowledgement.

Payment Procedure and Credit Cards

A deposit of approx US$1,000.00 per person is required to secure a booking which will include your Drukair airfares and taxes in most instances. Final balance is due no later than 30 days prior departure for Bhutan.
